Built on open-source CAD.

CADEditor adapts existing CAD technology so that your drawings can stay on your device. No LLM service is used to open, edit or convert a drawing.

CAD engine

CADCraft provides the editor, commands and rendering. Its source is available under MIT or Apache-2.0. We adapted browser file input, DWG/DXF output, a shared processing kernel and the integration with this site.

acadrust handles DWG and DXF data and is licensed under MPL-2.0. The dependency is retained as a separate component.

Older DWG compatibility

Older DWG drawings use a separate local Web Worker adapted from GNU LibreDWG 0.14, licensed under GPL-3.0-or-later. The file stays in your browser during conversion.
